OSRS drop split calculator
Enter the value of a drop, how many items you got and how many players are splitting it. The calculator shows each player's share, with optional Grand Exchange tax and a clan or host cut taken first.
How the split works
If the loot is sold on the Grand Exchange, 2% of each sale is removed (rounded down, capped at 5,000,000 GP per item; items under 50 GP pay none). Any clan or host cut is taken from what remains, and the rest is divided evenly. Leftover GP that cannot be divided evenly is shown as the remainder.
For example, a 1,000,000,000 GP drop sold on the Grand Exchange loses 5,000,000 GP to the capped tax, leaving 995,000,000 GP. Split between four players, that is 248,750,000 GP each.
Drop split FAQ
How do you split a drop in OSRS?
Agree the drop's value, subtract the Grand Exchange tax if it will be sold, then divide the total by the number of players. This calculator does the arithmetic and shows any remainder.
Is there tax when you split loot between players?
Trading items directly between players has no tax. The 2% tax applies when an item is sold on the Grand Exchange, which is why the calculator lets you switch it on or off.
What is the maximum Grand Exchange tax?
The tax is capped at 5,000,000 GP per item, so very valuable items such as a 1,000,000,000 GP drop pay the cap rather than a full 2%.
Can I take a clan or host cut?
Yes. Enter a percentage and it is deducted after tax, before the remaining GP is split evenly between players.
